Welcome to SuperFunkyPenguin, your go-to destination for cosy but professional work space for hire. I understand the needs of micro businesses and freelancers and offer tailored solutions to help your business thrive.
Whether you need a regular or ad hoc space to focus on work or hold a business meeting, host a workshop or sell your wares in your very own pop-up shop in a central village location, my flexible space studio is available for hire.
The room is light and comfortable, and although it’s located in the heart of Wrington village (not far from Bristol Airport), it’s set away from the road so is nice and quiet.
Wi-Fi, electricity to charge your laptop / phone, use of the kitchen to make tea or coffee (mugs, tea, coffee and milk will be provided) are all included in the fee.

My office and flexible work space is located in the heart of Wrington village in North Somerset, not far from Bristol. The village has a thriving community, with a cafe, two grocery shops (one with a post office counter), two pubs and various other local amenities.
The space is designed to be comfortable and modern (and a far cry from stuffy corporate offices or chaotic home offices!). It’s the perfect place for small business owners, freelancers and sole traders in North Somerset who need som extra space.
Is SuperFunkyPenguin's work space suitable for freelancers?
Absolutely, our work spaces is designed to cater to all kinds of businesses, including freelancers and sole traders.
It is used as a meeting space for up to 8 people, for solo-working away from the rush of the office or chaos of home, as a pop-up shop, to host small workshops, or space to create content for your social media.

Where is SuperFunkyPenguin located?
SuperFunkyPenguin is located in the village of Wrington, North Somerset, just a short drive from Bristol or Clevedon.
What is included in the office rental at SuperFunkyPenguin?
My flexi space office rental includes wi-fi, electricity to charge your electronics and use of the kitchen.
If you are hosting a pop-up shop or workshop, you will also be able to advertise it in my shop window, facing the High Street.
The space is flexible and can be tailored to your needs, with furniture moved around in a custom set-up for you. There is a large, sturdy table which can be folded to make a table for 4 or expanded to seat 8. It can also be moved to the side to provide greater floor space.

What types of work spaces are available for hire at SuperFunkyPenguin?
There are two rooms at SuperFunkyPenguin.
The main Flexi-space studio is situated at the back of the premises, away from the main road, and is suitable for meetings, workshops, solo-working, content creation and pop-up shops.
This space is available to rent (subject to availability) Monday - Sunday.
The second room is my office space at the front of the premises. It can be included in room hire for pop-up shops at the weekend or in the school holidays (for no additional charge).
A large conference desk is available for meetings and office-style work. Fold out market tables and a clothes rail are available for pop-up shops. These are provided free of charge.

Do you offer long-term office rentals?
Yes, subject to a trial period and approval, at SuperFunkyPenguin I offer both short-term and long-term flexi space / office rental options. The space can also be hired ad-hoc or as a one-off.

Can I rent a meeting room at SuperFunkyPenguin?
Yes, my flexi-space studio is the ideal location for a professional yet comfortable meeting room environment. A large conference table, charging facilities, tea/coffee and wifi are included, and there is a convenient blank wall perfect for your portable projector.

Can I hire space for a pop-up shop?
Yes, the space at SuperFunkyPenguin (situated on the local village high street) is ideal for pop-up shops. Stall tables and a clothes rail are available to use, and you can advertise your pop-up in my shop window in the run-up to your event.
Pop-ups hire is usually restricted to the weekends, but you will get both rooms included in the rental price.

What is the process for renting office or pop-up spacespace at SuperFunkyPenguin?
Simply get in touch with owner Adèle Williams to discuss room availability.
You will then be sent an invoice (payable in advance) and a contract to sign.
Can I view the flexible work space before renting?
Yes, absolutely. I encourage potential renters to visit my flexi space studio and view the work space before making a decision.
Please contact me in advance to arrange a visit as I'm an on-location photographer and am not always in the office.
