Brand photography is important because it helps businesses visually communicate their brand identity, values, and products or services to their target audience.  But what does that really mean?  Basically, by using photography aligned with your branding, you help you and your business to stand out and be more recognisable, helping to build know-like-and-trust with your future clients, which is what generating new business is all about.

A brand photography session is more than just the shoot itself. 

The journey begins with a consultation with you branding photographer, to understand the bigger picture of your business, and delve into the core of what you do, who you help and why.  We look at your business's needs as well as your branding with the focus on your colours and vibe.  During our planning session we sort out location, outfits, specific shots and who will be involved in the brand shoot.  But don't worry!  Your friendly brand photographer, Adèle Williams, will lead you through the process and give you all the help, information and inspiration to make it a straightforward, positive and enjoyable process, and you'll know exactly what you need and how to prepare ahead of your shoot.

With all the planning and preparation in place, the branding photography shoot itself is a fun and exciting experience, capturing images that align with your brand's visual identity.  The time will just fly by! 

Following your brand shoot, the photos are professionally edited, and delivered to you in web resolution (great for email marketing and social media posts) and high resolution (great for printed material and larger images on your website).

To prepare for a brand photography session, you should think about your brand's message, values, ideal clients and visual identity. You should also consider the types of images you need, such as product photos, headshots, or lifestyle images.  And of course, part of the planning process is to decide on outfits, props, locations and and "extras" (for example model clients) you need on the day.

Does this sound overwhelming?  Don't worry!  I provide you with a a super helpful pack which leads you through the whole process with ease, and I'm available to answer any questions as you prepare for our planning session.  During the planning session we work out the finer points together.

What you wear for a brand photography session will depend on your brand's style and the message you want to convey. It's generally best to wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and that represent your brand well.  Avoiding logos (unless their your own), and generally steering clear of busy patterns unless this is specifically part of your brand identity, is important.  

Your brand photographer will help you with outfit advice, and branding photography sessions allow for multiple outfit changes.

Mini branding shoots are a smaller, more focused version of a full branding shoot. At SuperFunkyPenguin a mini shoot will give you 10 professional, story-telling images, aligned to your brand and which capture the essence of what you do.  The shoots take place in my flexi-studio, which we style to you business and brand.

The cost of branding photography can vary depending on the scope of the project, the number of photos required, and the photographer's experience and expertise. It's best to get a quote from the photographer based on your specific needs.  It's also important to keep in mind that by choosing the right photographer for you (specifically one you feel comfortable with), you will feel more relaxed during your shoot and your resulting images will be much more effective.

At SuperFunkyPenguin brand photography prices range from £350 for a mini brand shoot to £1,695 for a standard 3 hour branding photography package (although it's worth keeping in mind the package will give you much more than just the photos!).  Bespoke packages tailored to your specific needs are also available, so let's chat!
