We’ve just had a wonderful family potter around Middlecombe Nursery‘s pumpkin trail! The pumpkins have been donated by local businesses, and look fabulous.
While 4 month old Head Of Sleep Control looked around in awe (to be fair, his usual expression at the moment), Little Whirlwind stood by the SuperFunkyPenguin contribution (expertly carved by Mr SuperFunkyPenguin with a grapefruit knife and a spoon due to the lack of appropriate tools), and tried to hand out business cards. The training’s going well.
Little Whirlwind had a wonderful time exploring the trail (I think we must have done the loop about 6 or 7 times), and had great fun hopping through leaves and finding his favourite local businesses (looking at you Mother Hen and Zero Waste Pantry)!
The trail is in aid of the YACWAG (Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group) Batmap Conservation Project, and runs until 31st October. It’s well worth a visit if you get a chance!
