So what is National Freelancer’s Day anyway??

You may have seen a few posts about National Freelancers Day at on June 28th Windmill Hill City Farm, but what on earth is it all about?

Well, the main event (run by IPSE) is held in Kings Place in London, but for the first time there will be a fringe event in Bristol, hosted by the amazing Faye Dicker of Freelance Mum fame.

It’s a celebration of what it means to be freelance (this year’s theme is flexibility and freedom), and gives us all a chance to see, experience and learn about local freelance businesses.

And I literally cannot wait!

The Bristol event looks set to be fabulous – with live music from the Bristol Business Choir, plenty of stalls showcasing products and services from your local freelancers. And of course in true Freelance Mum style, there will be lots to keep the little ones busy too (including face painting and a treasure hunt).

As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be talks from some pretty fabulous freelancers too (you’ll need to purchase tickets for the talks, but I suggest you get in quickly!). You can find out more details and book tickets here.

I’ll be the official photographer on the day, and I’m super excited about it! Please feel free to pop over and say hi, or visit my stall and enjoy what’s on offer 😊
