The weekend afforded the perfect opportunity to get out-and-about in Bristol.
The sun was shining, the Shaun the Sheeps were out in force, and the Bristol Harbour Festival was in full flow.
I’ve always found the Harbour Festival a bit overwhelming with huge crowds of people. However, this year we caught the steam train outside the wonderful MShed museum to the end of the line. I didn’t realise the festival spread this far out, and it was great! There was a good atmosphere, beer, food, live music and a host of Shaun the Sheeps just round the corner (temporarily being displayed at Aardman Animations).
It was a great opportunity to get my camera out and get clicking. I’ve uploaded a few of my favourite shots to my Flickr site, so why not grab a Pimms, sit back and have a browse.
It’s days like this that I realise how fortunate we are to be living near such a wonderful, vibrant city.
