Congratulations! If you’ve arrived here, then you’re planning a wedding or civil ceremony (or maybe you know someone who is).
First-up, if you’re planning a traditional event and are after a traditional photographer – someone who keeps you and your guests standing around while taking hundreds of formal, posed and rather wooden portraits of the wedding party, then I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong place. Sorry. I’m not your gal.
If, however, you’re planning a super funky day, something a bit different and personal, something very YOU, and you want beautiful and original photographs to tell the story of your day, then look no further!
“Adele Williams at Superfunkypenguin took the most wonderfully natural photos. If you’d prefer to capture the moment rather than have endless staged shots, then she’s your lady!” – Laura Bacon
I specialise in a photojournalistic style of photography: I keep my equipment to a minimum, I stand back, observe, and unobtrusively capture the ceremony, the reception and all the bits in between and round the edges as events unfold. The little details and the big moments. Naturally.
To keep things simple, I offer the following half-day wedding package, but this is completely customisable – because every couple is different! I can cover from 2 hours for a simple, intimate wedding up to 8 hours for something bigger.
The package includes a free 30 minute Engagement Photoshoot. This is an informal session, somewhere where the two of you can relax, have fun, and just be you! This is a great way for you to get used to the camera and how I work (it’s never as daunting as you might assume!), and you get a great set of photos of just the two of you, celebrating your you-ness!
“Not only is the quality of the end product, the photos themselves, wonderful but Adele is super at hiding away capturing the moment without being obtrusive.”
– Jenna Brown
“I really appreciate her style of observing and catching the best natural shots without intrusion.” – Chu Wang
“She has a real rare gift of capturing the moment of joy” – Svetlana Ovsyannikova
